Job summary

A company in Johor is looking for a Purchasing Executive who will negotiate purchasing packages, maintain comprehensive purchasing records, and process purchase orders in accordance with company policies. The ideal candidate should hold a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree, possess at least 2 years of relevant experience, and be proficient in MS Office. Purchasing Executive (Nusa Bestari, Skudai)

Responsibilities

• Negotiate for best purchasing package (in terms of quality, price, term delivery and service) with suppliers.
• Maintain complete updated purchasing records/data and pricing in the system.
• Responsible for preparation and processing of purchase orders and documents in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Monitor and coordinate deliveries of items between suppliers to ensure that all items are delivered to site/store on time.
• Perform ad‑hoc tasks if needed.

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in any related courses.
• Required skill(s): MS Office.
• Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English, 中文 (as needed to deal with supplier from China).
• At least 2 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Applicants must be willing to work in Nusa Bestari.
• Applicants who can start work with short notice will be added advantage.
• 5.5 days working (Alt Sat).
• Candidates who have hardware or Building Materials purchase experience will be added advantage.
