Private Advertiser in Malaysia seeks a Senior Purchasing Executive to lead direct materials procurement for local and overseas accounts. You will drive strategic sourcing, supplier evaluation, and contract negotiations while ensuring timely delivery and cost efficiency.

The role requires strong English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin, and proficiency in MS Office. You will report to the Purchasing Manager and collaborate跨部门 to meet KPI goals.

Qualificações

• Degree in any field required.
• Senior Executive specialized in Purchasing/Inventory/Material, manufacturing exp preferred.
• Proficient in English, Bahasa Malaysia and/or Mandarin.
• Strong Excel/Word/PowerPoint/Outlook skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation with suppliers.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and develop strategic procurement to ensure best cost, quality, delivery, services.
• Prepare and maintain local/overseas purchase plans and issue purchase orders.
• Monitor timely delivery and ensure supplier performance.
• Perform 3-way matching of PO, DO and Invoices; assist finance payments.
• Develop and improve purchasing systems, procedures and processes.
• Support internal and external audits and KPI achievement.
• Coordinate with departments to meet delivery dates and specs.
• Handle licenses and permits as needed.

SENIOR PURCHASING EXECUTIVE - DIRECT MATERIAL

Senior Purchasing Executive responsible for leading and developing strategic procurement to ensure best cost, quality, delivery, and services consistency through effective purchasing systems, single and multi-sourcing, and negotiation. This role manages direct materials for local and overseas accounts and reports to the Purchasing Manager.

Job Scopes and Responsibilities: -

To be able to lead and develop strategic procurement to ensure best cost, quality, delivery, services consistency through effective purchasing system, single and multi-sourcing, and negotiation.

To prepare and maintain accurate records of local and/or overseas purchase plan, issue purchase order, prepare monthly budget and control actual expenses, and others reports for business success and profitability.

To monitor and ensure timely delivery of the goods and/or services purchased from suppliers.

To perform 3-ways matching of PO, DO and Invoices, perform goods receipt in system before submit to Finance for payment.

To develop and improve current systems, procedures and processes for better results.

To manage supplier selection, supplier performance evaluation, and supplier management to build stronger partnership.

To liaise with relevant department if the delivery of goods/services not able to meet the request delivery date/quantity/specification/quality.

To support internal and external audits activities.

To work together with all team members and management to achieve the department KPIs and company's goals set.

Preparation and submission of Custom Duties Exemption Report as when needed.

Application of Sales Tax, MIDA Import Duty Exemption, CIDB, MTIB and any other relevant license or permits as needed.

To adhere to company's policy, code of conducts and procedures.

To perform others duties as assigned by Department Head/Management as necessary or as when required.

Requirements/Qualifications:

Candidate must possess at least Degreein any field.

Senior Executive specialized in Purchasing, Inventory/Material or equivalent. Preferably with working experience in manufacturing environment.

Required language(s):Read, write and speak English, Bahasa Malaysia and/or Mandarin.

Proficient in MS Excel, MS Words, MS PowerPoint, Outlook.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills with suppliers, ability to speak in Mandarin will be an added advantage.

Resourceful, self-driven, proactive and team player who can also work independently.

Able to work well under stress in a fast-paced environment.
