Job summary

Gold Billion Pharma in Serdang Perdana is seeking a Junior Purchasing/Inventory Executive to manage purchasing of health food and packaging materials. The role involves negotiating with suppliers, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining ISO-compliant records.

You will work closely with production and inventory teams to optimize cost, quality, and delivery performance. Candidates should have at least 2 years in purchasing, be proficient in Bahasa Malaysia and English, with Mandarin

Qualifications

• Experience in purchasing/inventory for at least 2 years.
• Proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia and English; Mandarin helpful.
• Willing to work in Serdang Perdana.
• Prefer Junior Executives in Purchasing/Inventory/Material & Warehouse Management.

Responsibilities

• Carry out all purchasing duties for health food materials, packaging materials and others.
• Negotiate terms and prices with suppliers.
• Follow up purchase orders issued to suppliers and ensure prompt delivery.
• Assist in evaluation of suppliers for quality, cost and delivery.
• Prepare purchasing cost analysis reports and maintain ISO records.
• Work closely with production, material and inventory control for efficiency.
• Review daily production output and adjust the production plan if needed.
• Conduct monthly material/product inventory counts.
• Negotiate with suppliers to meet quality, delivery and cost objectives.
• Match PO, invoice, and DO for sales tax claims and payment smoothing.
• Any other duties as assigned by superior.

Job description

Carry out all purchasing duties for health food materials, packaging materials and others.

To negotiate terms and prices with suppliers and recommend purchases.

Follow up purchase order issued to suppliers and ensure prompt delivery of goods.

Assist in selection and evaluation of existing/new suppliers to ensure they are conforming to quality, cost and delivery.

Able to prepare purchasing cost analysis reports, upkeep and maintain all record/data/document as per ISO requirements.

Work closely with production, material and inventory control at maximum efficiency.

Review daily production output and adjust the production plan whenever necessary.

To conduct monthly material / product inventory count.

Negotiates with suppliers to meet quality, delivery and cost objectives.

Timely submit the matching of PO, invoice, DO to account for sales tax claim and to smooth the process of payment.

Any other duties as assigned by superior.

Requirements:

Candidate must possess at least a Primary/Secondary School/SPM/"O" Level, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Logistic/Transportation, Business Studies/Administration/Management, Others, Marketing, Commerce or equivalent.

Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English

At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

Applicants must be willing to work in Serdang Perdana.

Preferably Junior Executives specializing in Purchasing/Inventory/Material & Warehouse Management or equivalent.
