Job summary

All Good Food Manufacturing Sdn Bhd in Seremban, Negeri Sembilan is seeking a procurement professional to assist the purchasing manager in supplier sourcing, evaluation, and contract negotiations.

You will maintain supplier relationships, optimize inventory, ensure compliance with regulations, and collaborate with internal teams to support sourcing for projects; Mandarin communication will be required to coordinate with management.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of relevant working experience in manufacturing setting.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Knowledge of purchasing workflow and market research; Familiar with Customs Acts and requirements.
• Experience in managing import and export shipping is a plus.
• Fluent in Mandarin for communication with Mandarin-speaking management.

Assisting the procurement manager in the purchasing process of an organization.

Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, conduct supplier qualification assessments, and negotiate contracts and pricing agreements.

Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, manage supplier performance, and resolve any issues or disputes that may arise.

Optimize inventory levels by implementing effective inventory management practices, ensuring adequate stock availability while minimizing carrying costs.

Maintaining purchasing activities records.

Working closely with internal departments to develop and maintain collaborative relationships to source, procure and identify suppliers and key technology suitable for the project.

Accountable for all the incoming and outgoing delivery from supplier and customer respectively, coordinate with Business Development unit to arrange delivery.

Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical sourcing practices.

Liaise with local authority such as Royal Malaysia Customs, compliance with rules and regulations.

Perform any other duties as assigned by the superior, including involvement in new events, initiatives, or projects in line with the company’s direction.

Job Requirements:

At least 3 years of relevant working experience in manufacturing setting.

Result oriented and able to work independently with minimum supervision, excellent negotiation, and communication skills.

Knowledge with purchasing workflow and market research abilities, as well Customs Acts and requirements.

Familiar in managing import and export shipping will be a plus points.
