Responsibilities

• Research and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, selection, service, support, availability, reliability, production and distribution
• Evaluate supplier quotations to ensure alignment with technical and commercial specifications
• In charge of daily operational purchasing needs such as planning, issuing and following up on Purchase Orders delivery schedules
• Resolve supply, quality, service and invoicing issues with vendors
• Evaluate supplier performance based on quality standards, delivery time and best prices
• Implement internal procurement strategies to cater to high delivery and short lead time requirements
• Build relationships with project teams and external suppliers
• Assist to negotiate contract terms and pricing with clients and suppliers
• Assist in independent bid comparison levelling for sourcing

Job description

• Research and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, selection, service, support, availability, reliability, production and distribution
• Evaluate supplier's quotation to ensure that they are in line with the technical and commercial specifications required for the project
• In charge of daily operational purchasing needs such as planning, issuing and following up on Purchase Orders delivery schedules
• Resolve supply, quality, service and invoicing issues with vendors
• Evaluate supplier performance based on quality standards, delivery time & best prices and ensure all the criteria are met according to the organizational requirements and expectation
• Responsible for implementing internal procurement strategies to cater to high delivery and short lead time requirements
• Build effective relationships with project team and external suppliers.
• Assist to negotiate contract terms and pricing with clients and suppliers
• Assist in independent bid comparison levelling for sourcing

Job Requirements

• Minimum Diploma in Business Administration or related field
• Familiar with computer MS Applications
• Experience working with construction industry a preference
• Understand and exposed to ISO standards and requirements an advantage
