Job summary

RESQTEC ZUMRO ASIA SDN BHD in Subang Jaya is seeking a procurement professional to manage NL purchasing, coordinate with NL/Malaysia teams, and ensure timely sourcing of materials at competitive prices.

You will prepare POs, track deliveries, maintain NL records in the ERP system, and liaise with suppliers to secure best terms. 3+ years in purchasing and a degree in business or supply chain are required; English and Malay are essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of active work experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management.
• Experience with ERP systems and working in an ISO environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, issue, and monitor purchase orders to ensure the accuracy of specifications, quantities, and pricing for NL.
• Track order status to ensure timely delivery and maintain NL purchasing records, including NL purchase orders and related NL system entries.
• Coordinate with NL Warehouse Manager and Malaysia team to ensure logistics and information updates for NL and overseas suppliers.
• Ensure NL purchasing records, supplier documents, contracts, PO, delivery notes, and related documentation are properly prepared and updated.
• Source new suppliers and maintain relationships with existing vendors, negotiating prices and terms to secure best deals.
• Prepare and manage all departmental NL reports.

Job description

To manage and coordinate purchasing activities for HQ in the Netherlands (NL), ensuring materials, components, equipment, and other required goods are sourced at competitive prices and delivered on time.

This position manages purchase orders, coordinates with suppliers, monitors deliveries, maintains purchasing documentation, updates the Odoo system, and communicates between the Netherlands and Malaysia teams to ensure a smooth, uninterrupted supply.

Key responsibilities

1.Prepare, issue, and monitor purchase orders to ensure the accuracy of specifications, quantities, and pricing for NL.

2. Track order status to ensure timely delivery of NL goods, and maintain complete and accurate NL purchasing records, including NL purchase orders, NL delivery documents, and related NL system entries.

3.Coordinate and work closely with:

• NL Warehouse Manager to ensure the logistics arrangement for NL and overseas suppliers.
• NL Warehouse Manager to ensure the NL team has the updated information and status.
• NL Warehouse Manager to ensure that materials are received and matched with P/O on time in the NL ODOO system.
• NL and Malaysia team to ensure the critical items are delivered on time.

4.Ensure all NL purchasing records, supplier documents, contracts, purchase orders, delivery notes, and related documentation are properly prepared, filed, maintained, and updated in accordance with company procedures and audit requirements.

5.Source new suppliers and maintain relationships with existing vendors, including negotiating prices and terms to secure the best deals for the company.

6.Prepare and manage all departmental reports related to NL.

About you

Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.

Minimum of 3 years of active work experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management.

Experience in international purchasing or dealing with overseas suppliers is an advantage.

Experience with ERP systems and working in an ISO environment.

Must be able to work independently, have good leadership, high responsibility, be highly motivated, able to handle pressure, work smart, be disciplined, a fast learner, honest, hardworking, and energetic.

Computer literate. Able to use Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, etc.

Able to multitask and work long hours if needed.

Good interpersonal skills.

Required languages: English and Malay. Both spoken and written.
