Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a hands-on Purchasing/Inventory professional to manage end-to-end procurement and stock control. You will oversee purchasing activities to ensure continuous supply of materials and liaise with suppliers on pricing and quality issues.

Responsibilities

• Oversee purchasing function to ensure supply of incoming materials.

• To Oversee the overall purchasing function and ensure sufficient supply of incoming
• materials at all time.
• To liaise with suppliers over pricing, quality problem if any.
• To plan, monitor and control of material inventory at optimum level.
• Conduct, monitor and evaluate supplier's performance and managing of relationships.
• To ensure that the whole purchasing department operations effectively
• To study the suppliers’ quotation/offers and to advise the management on the selection of suppliers.
• Work closely with supplier on purchased items/engaged services.
• To review purchase requisition and determine proper purchasing methods in compliance with the purchasing policies and procedures.
• Responsible for identifying, resolving and finding the root cause of discrepancies and other related inventory errors
• Monitoring and update inventory records
• To conduct inventory reconciliation and systematically
• Monitor inventory level and to ensure stock are sufficient to supply
• Review and apply inventory activities including movement and deletions
• Prepare inventory analysis report

Job Requirement

At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

Preferable candidate from food manufacturing industry.

Preferably Executives specializing in Purchasing/Inventory/Material & Warehouse Management.

Knowledge in using Autocount system is an added advantage.
