Job summary

Shoto Technology in Malaysia is seeking a procurement professional to identify, evaluate, and manage suppliers while building strong, long-term relationships. You will develop procurement plans, issue purchase orders, and monitor progress to ensure timely delivery of materials.

You will collaborate with the Warehouse Department to monitor inventory levels, optimize purchasing frequency and costs, and maintain procurement contracts and records for audit readiness.

Responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, and manage suppliers while building long-term supplier relationships.
• Develop procurement plans, issue purchase orders, and monitor order progress to ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Collaborate with the Warehouse Department to monitor inventory levels and analyze procurement and inventory data.
• Optimize purchasing frequency and inventory costs to prevent material shortages and excess inventory.
• Maintain and manage procurement contracts, purchase orders, and related documentation, ensuring records are complete, accurate, and readily available for audit and traceability purposes.
• Perform other procurement-related duties as assigned by management.
