Job summary

SC NEW ENERGY MALAYSIA SDN. BHD. is hiring a Purchasing Executive to handle local procurement in Malaysia, including supplier sourcing, price enquiries, PO processing, payments, and contract management.

Fluency in Mandarin, English, and Bahasa Malaysia is required. You will identify suppliers, compare quotes, negotiate prices, maintain records, and coordinate with warehouse, production, and finance teams. Diploma/degree in Business or Supply Chain and 1–2 years’ purchasing experience preferred;

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field
• 1–2 years of purchasing experience preferred; fresh graduates welcome
• Able to source and purchase materials independently in Malaysia
• Mandarin is required; English and Bahasa Malaysia for communication. We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word

Responsibilities

• Source and purchase materials locally in Malaysia – identify suppliers, compare quotes, and negotiate prices
• Handle price enquiries (RFQ), quotations, and supplier evaluation
• Process purchase orders, payment requisitions, and track delivery schedules
• Prepare and manage purchase contracts and agreements with suppliers
• Maintain supplier records, price lists, and purchasing documentation
• Coordinate with warehouse, production, and finance teams on material needs and payment matters
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word for reports, tracking sheets, and documentation
• Carry out other tasks as assigned by the supervisor
