Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a procurement professional to manage purchasing activities and ensure quality and quantity of goods and services. You will coordinate with logistics and suppliers to keep operations running smoothly.

You will negotiate terms, build strong supplier relationships, review vendors, and report on shortages and backlog to help prevent interruptions for customers and internal teams. This role focuses on improving lean processes and procurement efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Purchase goods or services that meet quantity and quality expectations
• Coordinate with related logistics activities while monitoring outstanding Purchase orders with suppliers
• Negotiate terms with suppliers (price, quality of goods, deadlines)
• Build strong relationships with suppliers and supplier management
• Conduct reviews with cross functional teams to ensure smooth procurement operations
• Report shortage and backlog reports, and provide visibility of potential interruptions to customer support team and internal customers
• Participate in identifying opportunities and implements actions to lean processes
• Evaluating vendors and periodical review comparing their products, prices, and services
