Job summary

Toong Star (Kangar) Sdn Bhd in Sabak Bernam, Selangor, is seeking a proactive Purchasing professional to support daily supply chain operations. You will manage purchase orders, liaise with vendors, and help maintain accurate inventory records.

Responsibilities include generating POs from requisitions, verifying accuracy against policies, negotiating terms with suppliers, and coordinating with the warehouse to ensure timely deliveries.

Qualifications

• Diploma required.
• 2–3 years of experience in performing supply chain or purchasing preferred.
• Good in numbers, high integrity, good communication and negotiation skills.
• Good communications in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

• Collaborate with the warehouse team to ensure proper stock levels and timely deliveries.
• To make sure all the invoices from branches submitted to Head Quarters for record. Maintain organized and up-to-date records of purchase orders, receipts, and invoices.
• Create and update supplier databases for reference.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma.
• 2-3 years of experience in performing Supply Chain or Purchasing function is preferred
• Good in numbers, high integrity, good communication and negotiation skills.
• Good communications skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Able to multitask and work well under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Possess a valid driving license and own a vehicle for regular travel to retail outlets.
• Willing to work in Sabak Bernam, Selangor.
