Store N Go Sdn Bhd in Shah Alam, Selangor, is seeking a Purchasing Assistant to join our procurement team on a full-time basis. You will support day-to-day purchasing activities, assist with supplier communications, and help ensure purchases align with budgets and policies.

The role offers hands-on exposure to supplier management, purchase order processing, and records maintenance within a collaborative environment.

Qualificações

• Pursuing Diploma or Bachelor's in Supply Chain/Procurement or related field.
• Strong command of English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin a plus.
• Ability to work under pressure and maintain confidentiality.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct purchasing activities to meet business needs.
• Prepare purchase orders and manage merchandise and supply orders.
• Follow up with vendors and suppliers regarding orders and invoices.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, invoices, and other essential data.
• Ensure timely delivery of orders by building strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.
• Adhere to and enforce the company’s procurement policies and procedures.
• Assist team members with ad-hoc tasks as required.
• Maintain and update supplier information for accurate record‑keeping.
• Managing clearance processes with forwarders.
• Handle sales orders (SO) and arrange delivery.

About the role

We are seeking a Purchasing Assistant to join our team in Shah Alam, Selangor on a full-time basis. This position is integral to our administrative and office support operations, ensuring that our purchasing processes run smoothly and efficiently. As a Purchasing Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting the procurement function, helping to manage supplier relationships, and ensuring that all purchasing activities align with company standards and budgetary requirements. This role offers the opportunity to develop valuable skills in procurement and administrative coordination whilst working within a supportive team environment.

Key responsibilities

Conduct purchasing activities to meet business needs.

Prepare purchase orders and manage merchandise and supply orders.

Follow up with vendors and suppliers regarding orders and invoices.

Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, invoices, and other essential data.

Ensure timely delivery of orders by building strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.

Adhere to and enforce the company’s procurement policies and procedures.

What we're looking for

Currently pursuing a Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Marketing, Business Administration, Business Studies or any other related fields.

Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia. Mandarin is an added advantage.

Able to work under pressure and tight deadlines.

Obliged to keep all the company information private and confidential.
