Job summary

Precede Precision Engineering / Molding Sdn Bhd (Precede Group) in Penang seeks a Junior Purchasing Executive. Fresh graduates are welcome; training will be provided. You will assist in purchasing, source suppliers, request quotations and prepare purchase orders, coordinating with production and warehouse teams.

Basic Excel/Word skills and Mandarin communication are required to liaise with suppliers. Strong communication and willingness to learn will help you succeed in this role.

Junior Purchasing Executive (Fresh Graduates Welcome)

Assist in daily purchasing and procurement activities.

Source suppliers, request quotations and compare prices.

Prepare purchase orders (PO) and follow up on deliveries.

Communicate with local and overseas suppliers, including China.

Coordinate with production, planning and warehouse departments.

Maintain and update purchasing records and documentation.

Assist in monitoring material requirements and stock availability.

Perform other related duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

Minimum SPM, Diploma or Degree in any field.

Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. Training will be provided.

Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.

Able to communicate in Mandarin to liaise with Mandarin-speaking suppliers.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsible, organized, detail-oriented and willing to learn.

Able to work independently and as part of a team.

No prior purchasing experience required.
