Job summary

FSD Semiconductor Technologies Sdn. Bhd. in Melaka invites applications for a Purchasing and Logistics Executive.

You will source, evaluate, and manage suppliers, prepare PR/PO, negotiate terms, and oversee delivery schedules to ensure timely supply of materials. This role requires a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in related fields, 2–3 years of procurement experience, and strong negotiation and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Logistics or a related field.
• 2–3 years of procurement or purchasing experience.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Good knowledge of procurement and logistics process.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and ERP/Accounting systems.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Preferable candidate able to read and write in English, Malay and Mandarin.

Responsibilities

• Source, evaluate, and manage suppliers, subcontractors, and service providers
• Obtain and compare quotations to ensure competitive pricing, quality, and delivery terms
• Prepare Purchase Requisitions (PR), Purchase Orders (PO), and related procurement documents
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers
• Monitor purchase orders and follow up on deliveries to ensure timely supply
• Verify supplier invoices, Delivery Orders (DO), and supporting documents
• Maintain procurement records, supplier databases, inventory records, and purchasing reports
• Coordinate logistics, import/export activities, shipments, and the movement of materials and finished goods
• Ensure compliance with company policies, Malaysian Customs requirements
• Any other jobs assigned by the Management and Company
