Job summary

Aconland Holdings Sdn Bhd is seeking a proactive Purchasing professional to source suppliers, negotiate competitive prices, and ensure timely product availability to support sales and operations.

The role offers opportunities to develop procurement expertise in the air-conditioning and refrigeration sector, with responsibilities spanning supplier evaluation, purchase orders, and inventory coordination across Malaysia.

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent qualification in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
• Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory management is an advantage.
• Experience in air-conditioning, refrigeration, HVAC, electrical or M&E products will be an added advantage.
• Good negotiation, communication and supplier management skills.

Responsibilities

• Source and evaluate suppliers for air-conditioning parts, refrigeration components and HVAC products.
• Negotiate prices, payment terms and delivery schedules to achieve cost-effective purchasing.
• Prepare and process purchase orders, quotations and related procurement documents.
• Follow up on supplier orders, shipment schedules and delivery status to ensure timely stock replenishment.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the warehouse and sales teams to meet business demand.
• Maintain good relationships with existing suppliers and identify new sourcing opportunities.
• Compare supplier quotations, monitor market prices and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Verify product specifications, quantities, pricing and relevant purchasing documents.
• Maintain accurate purchasing records and prepare regular procurement reports.
• Coordinate with internal departments to resolve purchasing, stock and delivery issues.

About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Purchasing professional to join our team. You will play an important role in sourcing products, developing supplier relationships, negotiating competitive prices and ensuring timely product availability to support our sales and business operations.

This role offers the opportunity to develop your procurement expertise and gain valuable industry knowledge in the air-conditioning and refrigeration sector.

Key Responsibilities

Source and evaluate suppliers for air-conditioning parts, refrigeration components and HVAC products.

Negotiate prices, payment terms and delivery schedules to achieve cost-effective purchasing.

Prepare and process purchase orders, quotations and related procurement documents.

Follow up on supplier orders, shipment schedules and delivery status to ensure timely stock replenishment.

Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the warehouse and sales teams to meet business demand.

Maintain good relationships with existing suppliers and identify new sourcing opportunities.

Compare supplier quotations, monitor market prices and identify cost-saving opportunities.

Verify product specifications, quantities, pricing and relevant purchasing documents.

Coordinate with internal departments to resolve purchasing, stock and delivery issues.

Perform other duties as assigned by the superior or Management.

Job Requirements

Diploma or equivalent qualification in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or a related field.

Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory management is an advantage.

Experience in air-conditioning, refrigeration, HVAC, electrical or M&E products will be an added advantage.

Good negotiation, communication and supplier management skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.

Experience with AutoCount, ERP or inventory management systems is an advantage.

Detail-oriented, organised, responsible and able to manage multiple tasks.

Able to work independently and collaborate effectively with different departments.

Proactive in problem-solving and cost optimisation.
