Job summary

I Green Engineering Sdn. Bhd. in Malaysia is seeking a procurement and delivery coordinator to manage purchasing, delivery coordination, and material management for construction/engineering projects in line with ISO procedures.

Responsibilities include securing best deals, arranging deliveries, site coordination, stock monitoring, and timely reporting. English and Bahasa Melayu are essential; Mandarin is a plus. Join a team delivering critical infrastructure projects across the region.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction or engineering procurement.
• Ability to coordinate deliveries and manage stock.
• Knowledge of ISO procedures and documentation.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

• Prepare and submit Site Material Balance and procurement reports.
• Monitor bulk order materials and stock levels for ongoing projects.
• Alert management when red flags or risks are detected in stock reports.
• Receive, match and update Purchase Documents in compliance with ISO Standard Procedures.
• Maintain proper filing so documents are easily traceable.

Job description

This role is responsible for managing the purchasing process, delivery coordination, and material management for construction or engineering projects in compliance with ISO procedures.

Key responsibilities

Manage the purchasing process to secure the best deals and arrange delivery according to ISO procedures

Check delivery status and arrange transport

Communicate and arrange with Project Personnel on site for delivery of materials

Perform daily checking on received delivery orders

Follow up with suppliers on pending deliveries to project sites and offices, and update relevant parties on delivery schedules

Prepare and submit Site Material Balance and other procurement-related reports

Monitor bulk order materials for each ongoing project and stock levels

Alert management when red flags or risks are detected while monitoring stock reports

Receive, match and update Purchase Documents in compliance with ISO Standard Procedures

Maintain proper filing to ensure documents are easily traceable

About you

Professional experience in the construction or engineering field

Resourceful with strong negotiation and communication skills

High level of initiative and strong problem-solving skills

Experience in Auto-count system is an added advantage

Able to work well under pressure and tight deadlines

Proficient in English and Bahasa Melayu; ability to communicate in Mandarin is an advantage
