Job summary

Malaysia Aviation Group is seeking a senior technology and PSS specialist to lead end-to-end integration and optimization of reservations and ticketing systems. You will act as the PSS SME, validate enhancements, manage UAT, deployments, and governance with vendors, while ensuring regulatory compliance and data integrity.

This role requires strong leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and strategic reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, IT, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 4 years of relevant PSS experience.
• Minimum of 10 years of overall work experience.

Responsibilities

• Technology Implementation & Optimization: Lead end-to-end integration of new technologies, conducting system studies and identifying FO C features to maximize business value.
• PSS Functional SME: Serve as the Subject Matter Expert for Reservations and Ticketing modules, validating all system enhancements and change requests.
• End-to-End Testing Management: Manage the full User Acceptance Testing lifecycle, from scenario creation to formal sign-off.
• Deployment & Performance Monitoring: Oversee Production deployment, post-launch health checks, and monitor system performance for stability.
• Incident Investigation & Resolution: Analyze databases and coordinate with vendors to resolve technical discrepancies and issues.
• Operational Excellence: Oversee daily reservation operations, monitoring queues and service levels to ensure booking integrity.
• Ticketing Governance & Revenue Protection: Ensure compliance with IATA regulations; identify and mitigate revenue leakage and ADM exposure.
• Stakeholder & Relationship Management: Liaise between IT/PSS teams and cross-functional departments to align system performance with business needs.
• Vendor & SLA Governance: Manage relationships with PSS vendors and GDS providers, ensuring contract adherence and SLAs.
• Business Continuity & Contingency Planning: Develop recovery procedures for outages and provide solutions during disruptions.
• Regulatory Compliance & Auditing: Support audits; ensure processes and docs meet aviation, financial, MAG policies.
• Data Integrity Management: Oversee accuracy of booking, ticketing, and passenger data across systems.
• Training & Capability Development: Create training modules and sessions to upskill staff on processes.
• Leadership & Mentorship: Provide mentorship to subordinates and enhance team capability.
• Strategic Reporting: Lead monthly performance reviews with department heads with data-driven insights.
