Job summary

QASSWA Travel in Malaysia–Johor Bahru invites experienced airline ticketing professionals to join our busy travel desk. You will handle reservations, issue tickets, rebook, cancel, and amend, while coordinating with airlines and partners to ensure accuracy and timely delivery of itineraries and invoices.

The role requires 1–2 years in airline ticketing, solid GDS knowledge (Sabre, Amadeus, Galileo), and strong Bahasa Malaysia and English communication.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in tourism, travel, hospitality, or related field.
• 1–2 years airline ticketing or travel agency operations experience.
• Experience with GDS such as Sabre, Amadeus or Galileo is an advantage.
• Knowledge of reservation, ticketing procedures, fare rules, rebooking, cancellation, and refunds.
• Good communication in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
• Detail-oriented and accurate in passenger and booking data.
• Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
• Able to work independently and in a team.
• Willing to work outside normal hours, weekends or holidays.
• Positive attitude, responsible with good problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle flight reservations, ticket issuance, rebooking, cancellation, and ticket amendments.
• Manage airline bookings and ensure all ticketing details are accurate and up to date.
• Coordinate with airlines, consolidators, and travel partners regarding flight schedules, fares, availability, and ticketing matters.
• Prepare and issue flight tickets, invoices, itineraries, and other relevant travel documents.
• Monitor flight schedules, changes, delays, cancellations, and other airline updates.
• Assist customers and internal teams with ticketing inquiries and provide appropriate solutions.
• Ensure all passenger details, travel dates, flight sectors, and booking information are accurate before ticket issuance.
• Maintain proper records of bookings, ticketing transactions, refunds, and cancellations.
• Coordinate closely with the Sales and Operations teams to ensure smooth booking and ticketing processes.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the management.
