Job summary

Amadeus GDS (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is seeking an Implementation Senior Engineer (Airport Solutions) to lead customer-facing deployments of airport IT solutions. You will act as the technical POC, coordinating with project managers to drive delivery, manage configurations, and ensure high customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.

The role involves stakeholder engagement, solution architecture advice, and cross-functional collaboration with product, engineering, and operations teams,

Qualifications

• Knowledge of AMS or PPS and airport IT domains.
• Understanding of LAN, WAN concepts and network basics.
• Familiarity with software development concepts and Windows OS.
• Experience with client/server architectures and version control.
• Excellent English communication and collaborative skills.
• Willing to travel internationally and domestically as needed.
• Engineering or related degree or practical equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Act as technical POC for large-scale implementation projects and deployments.
• Develop and execute implementation plans with the Project Manager.
• Provide status updates, risks, and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Lead end-to-end delivery of customer-facing projects (software, testing, go-live).
• Coordinate onsite activities with customers and subcontractors.
• Support pre-sales activities with technical discussions and demos.
• Validate interfaces and deliverables; ensure successful project governance.
