We are looking for a PROTEGE PURCHASING OFFICER to manage and support daily procurement activities within the construction industry. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and experienced in sourcing, vendor management, and cost control.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, control, and monitor the implementation of daily purchasing activities.

Conduct product research, source new suppliers, and negotiate the most cost-effective deals.

Evaluate existing and potential vendors based on quality consistency, on-time delivery, and competitive pricing while upholding the highest standards of ethics and professionalism.

Coordinate and liaise with related departments and project sites regarding order status, delivery schedules, and cost control matters.

Prepare reports and work closely with the Head of Department to develop and implement procurement strategies.

Requirements

Candidate must possess at least Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Procurement, or a related field.

Strong negotiation and administrative skills with a high level of discipline and efficiency.

Able to work independently, multitask in a fast-paced environment, and meet deadlines.

Good interpersonal and communication skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Required languages: Bahasa Malaysia and English. Knowledge of Mandarin will be an added advantage.
