Job summary

Supervise daily construction activities.

Ensure works are carried out according to approved drawings and specifications.

Monitor workmanship and quality of work.

Coordinate subcontractors and site workers.

Project Planning & Coordination

Prepare and monitor work schedules.

Coordinate with clients, consultants, architects, and subcontractors.

Arrange manpower, materials, machinery, and equipment.

Attend site meetings and technical discussions.

Quality Control (QA/QC)

Inspect incoming materials.

Ensure compliance with project specifications and relevant standards.

Conduct inspections before consultant or client inspections.

Rectify non-conformance issues.

Safety Management

Ensure compliance with site safety regulations.

Conduct toolbox meetings.

Monitor the use of PPE.

Report and investigate safety incidents.

Technical Support

Interpret construction drawings and specifications.

Resolve technical issues on site.

Prepare method statements and work procedures.

Assist with design changes and Requests for Information (RFIs).

Documentation

Prepare daily site reports.

Record site progress.

Prepare inspection requests (IRs), material submissions, and as-built records.

Maintain site diaries and documentation.

Material & Equipment Control

Ensure sufficient materials are available for scheduled work.

Progress Monitoring

Track actual progress against the project schedule.

Identify delays and propose recovery plans.

Report weekly and monthly progress to the Project Manager.

Requirements

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

Minimum 3 years of site supervision experience in construction or M&E projects.

Able to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.

Good knowledge of site supervision, QA/QC, and safety requirements.

Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office; AutoCAD knowledge is an added advantage.

Possess a valid driving licence and willing to travel to project sites.

Experience in water or wastewater treatment plant (WTP/WWTP/STP) projects will be an added advantage.
