• Registered with Board of Engineers Malaysia
• Registered with CIDB
• Knowledge of sewage/wastewater treatment processes
• Ability to read civil, mechanical, and electrical drawings
• Familiarity with scheduling software (e.g., Primavera, MS Project)
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail on quality and safety

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily site work (civil, mechanical, electrical) for STP components like tanks, chambers, pumping stations, and treatment units
• Check and approve contractor drawings, method statements, and material submittals
• Conduct site inspections and quality checks at key construction stages
• Resolve technical issues with design consultants
• Oversee testing and commissioning of STP equipment and verify performance
• Monitor project schedule and report delays
• Verify contractor work measurements for payment certificates
• Ensure site safety and environmental compliance
• Maintain daily site reports, inspection logs, and records
• Attend site progress meetings with contractors and stakeholders
• Review variation orders and change requests
• Coordinate with authorities for inspections and approvals
• Supervise and guide junior site engineers
