Job summary

Panaromic Sdn Bhd is seeking a Site Supervisor to oversee daily civil construction activities on a large infrastructure project in Malaysia. You will ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and safety protocols while coordinating with subcontractors, engineers, and suppliers.

The role requires inspecting workmanship, managing labour and equipment, and maintaining thorough site documentation to support testing and handover activities.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Experience in infrastructure/civil construction projects.
• Good knowledge of construction drawings and specifications.
• Ability to supervise subcontractors and site workers.
• Knowledge of QA/QC procedures and site safety requirements.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily site activities according to approved drawings, specifications, and work programmes.
• Monitor construction works such as earthworks, roadworks, drainage, sewerage, concrete works, and utility installation.
• Ensure work is carried out according to project specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, workers, engineers, consultants, and suppliers.
• Check site measurements, levels, materials, and workmanship.
• Monitor manpower, machinery, equipment, and material requirements.
• Conduct daily site inspections and identify construction issues or delays.
• Ensure proper implementation of method statements, Inspection & Test Plans (ITP), and QA/QC procedures.
• Coordinate inspections with the QA/QC team and consultants.
• Maintain daily site records, progress reports, inspection records, and site documentation.
• Monitor work progress against the project schedule and report delays or issues to the Site Engineer/Project Manager.
• Ensure proper housekeeping and compliance with DOSH/OSH and site safety requirements.
• Attend site meetings and coordinate work activities with other trades and contractors.
• Resolve minor site issues and elevate technical or construction problems when necessary.
• Ensure completed works are properly inspected and prepared for testing and handover.
