Job summary

Ovivo Water in Malaysia is seeking a proactive Project Manager for site and project management of industrial water treatment systems. You will oversee site operations, coordinate with suppliers, monitor progress, and ensure on-time handover with quality compliance.

Travel domestically and overseas is required. Degree in Chemical, Environmental or Mechanical Engineering and 3–5 years of related experience are preferred, with strong English and Bahasa Malaysia proficiency.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Chemical, Environmental or Mechanical Engineering.
• 3–5 years in project management/engineering for industrial water treatment.
• Fresh graduates may be considered.
• Willingness to travel domestically and overseas.
• Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Responsibilities

• Overall project planning, scheduling, monitoring to meet completion targets.
• Site coordination and progress reporting through construction until handover.
• Monitor fabrication progress to meet schedule and quality.
• Liaise with sub-suppliers and manage procurement and on-site execution.
• Coordinate with end-user customers and suppliers to deliver per specs.
• Prepare and hand over O&M manuals to customers.

Site and project management and daily operations, routine/ad hoc service work for industrial water treatment systems

Overall project planning, scheduling, monitoring and updating to meet project completion targets

Site co-ordination, monitoring and report work progress for construction until project handover

Monitoring manufacturing progress of fabricators to ensure schedule timeline and quality requirements as per agreement

Liaising, negotiating and managing sub-suppliers/sub-contractors in the region with respect to procurements and in-situ execution of sales contracts or projects

Assist Project Manager to coordinate and communicate with end-user customers, local and regional suppliers to produce deliverables as per contractual specifications and schedules

Compiling and handing over operation and maintenance (O&M) manuals to end-user customers

Job Requirements:

• Degree/Diploma in Chemical, Environmental or Mechanical Engineering
• Preferably 3-5 years of related experience in project management, project engineering, and operations for industrial water treatment systems
• Fresh graduate could also be considered
• Willing to travel both domestically and overseas
• Ability to speak and write fluently in English and Bahasa Malaysia
