Job summary

Prestico Sdn Bhd is seeking a proactive Project & Procurement Executive to support project execution and non-trade procurement. You will coordinate renovation, maintenance, civil and infrastructure projects while managing procurement, inventory control and cost optimization initiatives.

This hands-on role requires managing project costs, supplier performance, stock availability and operational purchasing to support ongoing operations and development plans.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Building Construction, Project Management, Procurement, Supply Chain Management or related disciplines.
• 2+ years of experience in Project Coordination, QS, Contract Administration, Procurement or related fields.
• Knowledge of project costing, procurement processes, inventory management and vendor negotiation.
• Experience in construction, renovation, maintenance or infrastructure projects is a plus.
• Strong analytical, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office applications.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate renovation, maintenance and infrastructure-related projects.
• Prepare project costing, budget estimations, quotation comparisons and procurement recommendations.
• Source, evaluate and negotiate with suppliers, contractors and service providers for best value.
• Manage procurement of non-trade materials, equipment, tools, spare parts and operational supplies.
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure stock availability while minimizing excess and wastage.
• Conduct regular stock reviews and coordinate replenishment activities.
• Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives through strategic sourcing and negotiations.
• Review supplier quotations, contractor claims and purchase requests.
• Liaise with internal departments, suppliers and contractors for smooth project execution and timely material delivery.
• Conduct site visits and monitor project progress, budget and timelines.
• Prepare procurement, inventory and project performance reports for management review.
• Maintain procurement, inventory and project records for compliance and audit.

Prestico Sdn Bhd is looking for a proactive and results-driven Project & Procurement Executive to support both project execution and non-trade procurement activities.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating renovation, maintenance, civil structure and infrastructure-related projects while managing procurement, inventory control and cost optimization initiatives. This role requires a hands‑on individual who can effectively manage project costs, supplier performance, stock availability and operational purchasing requirements to support the Company's ongoing operations and development plans.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor renovation, maintenance and infrastructure-related projects.
• Prepare project costing, budget estimations, quotation comparisons and procurement recommendations.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Building Construction, Project Management, Procurement, Supply Chain Management or related disciplines.
• Minimum 2 years of working experience in Project Coordination, Quantity Surveying (QS), Contract Administration, Procurement or related fields.
• Knowledge of project costing, procurement processes, inventory management and vendor negotiation.
• Experience in construction, renovation, maintenance or infrastructure projects will be an added advantage.
• Strong analytical, negotiation and problem‑solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
• Able to manage multiple tasks and work effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
