Job summary

Prestico Sdn Bhd (S'MART) is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead construction, renovation, maintenance, fit-out and infrastructure projects across the Group. The role requires strong leadership, planning, budgeting and safety compliance to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Responsibilities include defining scope, managing teams, coordinating contractors and consultants, monitoring progress and reporting to management.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, Building Construction or related disciplines.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Project Management, Construction, Renovation, Infrastructure Development or related fields.
• Strong knowledge of project planning, budgeting, costing, contract administration and site management.
• Proficient in reading construction drawings and project documentation.
• Experience reading and interpreting M&E and related specs is advantageous.

• Lead and manage construction, renovation, maintenance, fit-out and infrastructure projects from inception to completion.
• Develop project plans, budgets, schedules and resource allocation strategies to ensure successful project delivery.
• Define project scope, objectives, deliverables and timelines in collaboration with Management.
• Coordinate and manage contractors, consultants, suppliers and project teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential risks and implement corrective actions when required.
• Review project costs, quotations, variation orders and resource requirements to ensure effective cost control.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure works are carried out according to approved specifications, quality standards and safety requirements.
• Oversee project procurement, material planning and contractor performance.
• Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.
• Prepare project reports, progress updates and management presentations.
• Manage project completion, handover documentation and post-project evaluation.

Prestico Sdn Bhd (S'MART) is seeking an experienced and results-driven Project Manager to lead and oversee construction, renovation, maintenance, fit-out and infrastructure-related projects across the Group.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing projects from planning to completion, ensuring timely delivery, cost efficiency, quality standards and compliance with safety requirements. This role requires strong leadership, project management and stakeholder coordination skills to effectively manage contractors, consultants, suppliers and project teams while driving operational excellence and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements

Diploma or Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, Building Construction or related disciplines.

Strong knowledge of project planning, budgeting, costing, contract administration and site management.

Good understanding of civil works, structural works, building maintenance, fit-out, signage, M&E and contractor management.

Strong leadership, negotiation, communication and problem-solving skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.

Able to read and interpret construction drawings, technical specifications and project documentation.

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and project management tools and advantage have Ai tool experience.

Possess own transport and willing to travel for site visits when required.
