Job summary

Abadi Piling Sdn. Bhd. in Kuala Lumpur seeks an experienced civil engineer to supervise piling works on site and coordinate engineering submissions. You will ensure compliance with drawings, specs and contract requirements while liaising with consultants and clients.

The role requires 5+ years in civil/construction with piling experience, strong CAD skills, and the ability to work independently. This is a full-time, on-site position with long hours and site meetings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Post Graduate Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of experience in civil/construction, preferably piling-related.
• Senior Executive level preferred in Engineering – Civil/Construction/Structural.
• Ability to work independently.

Job description

• To ensure procedures and materials of comply with contract plan, quality and specifications.
• To supervise all construction works at site independently.
• To attend fortnightly site meetings.
• Coordinate and monitor construction works as per contract specifications and standards to ensure procedures are followed and materials used conform to specification and standards.
• Supervise construction works and to ensure that all works carried out are in accordance to the drawings, specifications, construction plan, procedures, work instruction and etc..

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position. Preferably withpiling‑relatedfield (Minimum 5 year experience)
• Preferably Senior Executives specializing in Engineering – Civil/Construction/Structural or equivalent.
• Be able to work independently.

Job Description:

• Ability to think broadly across a problem and propose creative / innovative solutions.
• Good interpersonal skills and be able to work independently.

• Conduct site inspections to ensure work is done according to drawings and specifications.
• Ensure timely completion of the project, control costs, and report to consultants on site matters.
