Private Advertiser in Malaysia is seeking a Site Engineer to supervise and coordinate daily construction site activities, ensuring progress aligns with the project schedule and approved drawings.
You will review drawings, monitor safety, quality, and progress, and communicate with project managers, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients. Travel to project sites may be required.
Supervise and coordinate daily construction site activities to ensure work progresses according to the project schedule.
Monitor site work to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.
Coordinate with project managers, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients on project execution.
Review construction drawings and resolve technical or site-related issues promptly.
Plan and monitor manpower, materials, machinery, and equipment required for site operations.
Conduct site inspections and ensure all works comply with quality control requirements.
Monitor project progress and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly site progress reports.
Attend site meetings and coordinate project activities with all relevant stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) requirements and company safety policies.
Assist in the inspection and handover of completed works to clients.
Maintain proper site records, documentation, and reports.
Perform any other duties assigned by Management.
Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
Minimum 2–5 years of relevant site engineering experience in the construction industry.
Experience in commercial, industrial, residential, or infrastructure projects is an advantage.
Able to interpret construction drawings and technical specifications.
Good knowledge of construction methods, quality control, and site safety practices.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD (knowledge of MS Project or Primavera is an advantage).
Strong communication, problem-solving, and coordination skills.
Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Willing to travel or work at project sites when required.
