Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Civil/Geotechnical Engineer to assist the project and design manager on technical submissions and oversee drawing coordination at site level.

The role involves coordinating shop drawings, following up with consultants for approvals, and reviewing submission documents to ensure compliance with geotechnical and foundation requirements. Working hours are 8am–7pm, Mon–Sat, on-site.

Qualifications

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree or Post Graduate Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience in civil/foundation works is encouraged to apply.
• Fresh graduates with relevant tertiary qualification are welcome.

Responsibilities

• Assist project and design manager on technical submissions.

• To ensure procedures and materials of comply with contract plan, quality and specifications.

Requirements

Job Description

• Competent research capability utilizing the internet and other information sources.

• Good interpersonal skills and be able to work independently.

• To assist the site manager in managing construction personnel.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure work is done according to drawings and specifications.
• Ensure timely completion of the project, control costs, and report to consultants on site matters.
