Job summary

JIAN SHAN CONTRUCTION SDN BHD seeks a Site Engineer / Civil Engineer to supervise and coordinate construction activities on-site, ensuring safety, efficiency, and on-schedule delivery in line with approved drawings and specifications.

The ideal candidate holds a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (or related field) and has 2–5 years of on-site construction experience; fresh graduates with strong knowledge may be considered for junior roles.

Job description

The Site Engineer / Civil Engineer is responsible for supervising and coordinating construction activities on-site to ensure that all works are completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and applicable requirements. The position will work closely with the Project Manager, consultants, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, Quantity Surveyors, and site personnel to ensure smooth project execution.

About you

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Structural Engineering, or Building/Construction-related field

Candidates with relevant technical qualifications and strong construction experience may also be considered

Preferably 2-5 years of experience in building construction, civil construction, or a related field

Fresh graduates with strong technical knowledge and willingness to work on construction sites may be considered for junior positions

Experience in residential, commercial, or industrial construction will be an advantage
