Cinta Design & Build Sdn Bhd (建达设计建筑有限公司) is seeking a Project Manager (Interior Design Fit Out & Extension) to lead ID projects from planning to completion. You will ensure on-time delivery, stay within budget, and align with design intent, standards, and client requirements.

We are looking for an Project Manager (Interior Design Fit Out & Extension) to lead and oversee our ID projects from the project planning all the way to completion and handover.
Your main focus is to ensure our projects are delivered on time, stay within budget, and strictly follow the design plans, quality standards, and client requirements. You will act as the main link connecting our clients, designers, consultants, contractors, and suppliers, making sure everyone is on the same page.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management: Lead ID projects from start to finish. You will build project schedules, track timelines, manage budgets, allocate resources, and find ways to fix project risks before they become real problems.
Design Coordination: Work closely with interior designers, architects, engineers, and contractors. You will review design drawings, material choices, and construction details to make sure the final build looks exactly like the design intent.
Client Management: Act as the primary contact person for our clients. You will give them regular progress updates, manage their expectations, and solve any issues quickly.
Site & Construction Management: Visit project sites regularly to check on progress. You will coordinate with contractors and suppliers on-site to resolve technical problems and ensure everyone follows the approved drawings and safety rules.
Quality Assurance: Make sure all work meets our company’s quality standards. You will inspect the site workmanship, catch mistakes early, and coordinate defect fixing before final handover to the client.
Team Leadership: Guide and support internal project teams, designers, coordinators, and external consultants. You will also help mentor junior design team members and keep communication smooth.
Documentation & Tracking: Keep accurate project records, including meeting minutes, contracts, and drawings. You will also keep close track of any change orders, project variations, and client approvals.
Requirements
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Project Management, Construction Management, or a related field.
Experience:
Minimum 3 years of experience in interior design, fit-out, architecture, or construction project management.
Proven experience managing commercial, residential, retail, corporate, or hospitality projects.
Experience leading mixed teams of designers, consultants, and contractors.
Technical Skills:
Strong understanding of ID principles, construction methods, and fit-out processes.
Good at planning schedules, managing budgets, and handling contract paperwork.
Proficient in tools like CAD, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Office.
Familiar with local building regulations and industry standards.
Soft Skills: Great leadership skills, clear communication, a strong ability to solve problems, and the organization needed to handle multiple projects at the same time.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience handling residential and commercial interior design fit out project and house extension.
Prepare daily/weekly/monthly site reports and update to project manager/ superior on project progress status.
