Jora Malaysia is seeking a Project Manager to lead the setup and launch of new stores. You will plan, organize, and oversee projects from design to handover, ensuring they stay within budget and timeframes.

Plan, organize and manage the set-up of new stores
Accountable for the development of the new stores and to oversee all projects/new store builds from design to handover
Ensure that all store development projects are performed within the set budget, timeframe and quality standards
Responsible for the overall project management of ensuring quality, cost, statutory, safety, and environmental requirements
Manage supplier and fit-out contractor selection and appointment within the approved budgeted cost
To attend site meetings and resolve all technical issues with the subcontractors and suppliers
Liaise with mall management, authorities, and relevant parties to resolve any problems that may arise
Responsible to execute the project work plan and revise the plan appropriately to meet the challenging needs and requirements
Review proposed layouts together with brand operations to ensure it is in line with the requirements and advise on deliverables
Collaborating with the brand, marketing, and operations team to ensure that the stores can be opened on time and ready to welcome customers
Responsible for paperwork such as progress reports, letters, project documentation, etc.
Responsible for the review and approval of processed invoices associated with store development, capital expenditure and maintenance expenditure
Compile and provide periodic reports on new builds and renovations that provide analysis of shop-fitting costs and its implementation to improve cost and lead-times
REQUIREMENTS:
Candidates must possess at least a Diploma in a relevant field. Candidates with a background in Interior Design or Architecture will have an added advantage
At least 5 years of working experience in project management, preferably in the setting up of stores, interior construction and fit-out, within the retail industry
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Strong interpersonal skills and able to communicate well with internal and external parties at all levels
Able to multitask, meet datelines, be self-motivated, and work under pressure with minimal supervision
Familiar with Microsoft Office, Planogram, Adobe Illustrator, AutoCad and able to quickly learn new software, systems, and applications
Fluent in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin to effectively communicate with our diverse client base and stakeholders.
