Job summary

IOI Properties Group in Malaysia seeks a Senior Fit-Out Project Lead to manage a team of fit-out coordinators and ensure that shop layouts are delivered on time in close collaboration with contractors and consultants. You will oversee pre-fit out coordination, monitor construction progress, liaise with Leasing, Building Services, Security and Safety, and certify compliance before shop openings.

A minimum degree in Architecture or Interior Design with at least five years’ retail fit-out

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of fit-out coordinators to realize design layouts with contractors and consultants.
• Provide design and coordination inputs for shop fit-out, raise requisitions and liaise with the Project Department on base building work.
• Monitor overall progress of tenancy fit-out and coordinate with Leasing, Building Services, Security and Safety on fit-out works.
• Inspect post-fit-out stages before shop openings and certify compliance with the relevant departments; supervise rectification works as needed.
• Head special project work as assigned by management within the company.

Key Accountabilities Responsibilities and Duties

To lead a team of fit out coordinators, in ensuring the design layout are realized in a timely fashion in close liaison with contractors and consultants.

Pre-Fit Out / Construction Stage

• To provide design and creative inputs and technical coordination for shop fit out.
• To raise requisition and liaise with Project Department on base building work.
• To liaise with base building consultants pertaining to technical issues.
• To make recommendations to the Tenancy Approving Board with regard to fit out works.

Fit Out / Construction Stage

• To monitor the overall progress of work for tenancy fit out.
• To liaise and coordinate with Leasing, Building Services, Security and Safety Department with regard to fit out works.
• To monitor fit out works and ensure contractors comply with approved design and address any technical issues that may arise.

Post Fit Out / Construction Stage

• To carry out inspection before opening of shops with Leasing, Safety and Building Services Department upon completion of fit out works and certify compliance.
• To supervise rectification works in close liaison with Contractors and Leasing, Safety and Building Services Department in the event of non-compliance.

Special Project

• To head specific project work as assign by the management within the Company.
