Job summary

SPA INTEGRATED SDN. BHD. is seeking a Project Manager to lead construction and interior design (ID) works, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

The role involves coordinating with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers while managing costs and contractual matters. The candidate should have a relevant degree, at least 5 years of experience (3 in ID works), and proven ability to manage multiple activities, maintain schedules,

Job description

Project Manager for construction and interior design (ID) works, responsible for planning, managing, and overseeing projects to ensure timely completion within approved budget and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

Plan, manage, and oversee construction and interior design (ID) works to ensure timely completion within the approved budget and quality standards.

Monitor project progress, work schedules, manpower, material resources, and overall site operations.

Ensure all construction and ID works comply with approved drawings, specifications, contractual requirements, and safety regulations.

Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and project teams to ensure smooth project execution.

Manage project costs, progress claims, variation orders (VO), and other contractual matters.

Monitor quality control, resolve site issues, and implement corrective actions to minimise delays.

Prepare project progress reports and ensure timely project completion, defect rectification, and handover to the client.

About you

Possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Postgraduate Diploma, or Professional Degree in Civil Engineering, Engineering (Others), or an equivalent qualification.

Minimum of 5 years of working experience, including at least 3 years of experience in Interior Design (ID) works in a similar nature of work as a Project Manager.

Proven experience in managing construction projects, project planning, cost control, quality management, and site coordination.

Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Ability to manage multiple project activities and meet deadlines within the approved budget.

Good knowledge of construction methods, project specifications, contractual requirements, and safety regulations.
