The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing construction projects to ensure completion within budget, schedule, quality, and safety standards. The role involves planning and allocating project resources, monitoring progress, resolving issues, and ensuring all activities comply with company procedures, statutory requirements, and ISO documentation practices. The Project Manager will lead and coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, and internal departments to achieve smooth and efficient project delivery.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and organize project activities to ensure timely completion within budget and specifications
- Prepare the Master Work Programme, monthly and weekly work schedules, and manpower plans
- Review project drawings, specifications and documents, and ensure the latest approved revisions are properly controlled, distributed and used for construction
- Lead site operations and monitor daily progress against targets and milestones
- Identify potential delays, project risks, resource constraints or other issues and implement appropriate preventive/corrective measures promptly
- Ensure all construction works are carried out in accordance with the Project Quality Plan (PQP) and Quality Management System (QMS)
- Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to coordinate project requirements
- Ensure construction quality meets contractual and technical specifications and conduct regular inspections to verify workmanship and material quality
- Implement and monitor safety, health, and environmental practices at site and enforce compliance with statutory regulations and company safety policies
- Monitor project budgets, cost control, and progress claims to ensure financial discipline
About you
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or other relevant discipline/equivalent qualification
- Minimum 6 years of project management experience in the construction industry
- Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, contract administration, and local authority procedures
- Proficient in project management software and MS Office (AutoCAD and MS Project preferred)
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills with proven team coordination ability
- Ability to manage multiple projects while ensuring quality, cost, and schedule compliance
- Working knowledge of Project Quality Plans (PQP), Quality Management System (QMS) requirements, and construction quality documentation
- Knowledge of Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) coordination will be an added advantage
