Job summary

MASBOH IBS SDN. BHD. is seeking a Construction Project Manager to oversee projects from planning through completion, coordinating schedules, budgets, teams and compliance.

You will plan schedules, monitor progress against budgets, establish SOPs, and lead multi-disciplinary teams including clients and subcontractors. Proficiency in MS Project, Excel and PowerPoint, with strong Mandarin, English and Bahasa Malaysia communication, is essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in civil engineering or construction management.
• Minimum five years of construction or project-management experience.
• Experience with SOPs/workflows and dashboards.
• Proficient in MS Project, Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Plan project schedules, manpower and material requirements.

Job description

This is a project management role responsible for overseeing construction projects from planning through completion, managing schedules, budgets, teams and compliance requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Plan project schedules, manpower and material requirements
• Monitor planned versus actual progress, budgets and labour costs
• Establish and improve project SOPs, workflows and reporting systems
• Coordinate internal teams, clients, consultants and subcontractors
• Manage project risks, RFIs, variation works and recovery plans
• Ensure compliance with drawings, QA/QC, safety and JKKP requirements
• Lead the project team and submit timely management reports

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related field
• Minimum five years of construction or project-management experience
• Familiar with construction project workflows and SOP implementation
• Able to develop and implement project SOPs and workflows
• Able to use project-management and reporting tools to prepare progress reports and dashboards
• Proficient in Microsoft Project, Excel and PowerPoint
• Able to communicate effectively in Mandarin, English and Bahasa Malaysia with team members and clients
• Strong leadership, planning and problem-solving abilities
• IBS, formwork or high-rise construction experience is an advantage
• Able to travel to project sites when required
