Job summary

Triple H Construction & Engineering Sdn. Bhd. in Johor Bahru is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and manage construction projects from planning through completion.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Building, Architecture or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the construction industry.
• Experience in industrial factory, commercial building or Design & Build projects is a plus.
• Strong leadership, planning and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; project planning software knowledge is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Plan, manage and oversee overall construction project execution.
• Monitor project schedule, progress, manpower and site activities.
• Coordinate with Clients, Consultants, Subcontractors, Suppliers and internal project teams.
• Ensure projects meet drawings, specifications, quality standards and contractual requirements.
• Monitor project cost, budget, resources and material requirements.
• Identify risks, delays and technical issues and implement solutions.
• Lead site meetings, progress meetings and internal coordination meetings.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality and statutory requirements.
• Review progress reports and provide regular updates to Management.
• Manage subcontractor performance and ensure works meet project requirements.
• Ensure proper project documentation and handover on completion.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Project Manager to lead and manage construction projects from planning through completion.

The successful candidate will be responsible for project coordination, site progress, cost control, quality, safety, stakeholder management and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, manage and oversee overall construction project execution.

Monitor project schedule, work progress, manpower and site activities.

Coordinate closely with Clients, Consultants, Subcontractors, Suppliers and internal project teams.

Ensure projects are completed according to approved drawings, specifications, quality standards and contractual requirements.

Monitor project cost, budget, resources and material requirements.

Identify project risks, delays and technical issues, and implement appropriate solutions.

Lead site meetings, progress meetings and internal coordination meetings.

Ensure compliance with safety, quality and statutory requirements.

Review project progress reports and provide regular updates to Management.

Manage subcontractor performance and ensure works are completed according to project requirements.

Ensure proper project documentation, records and handover upon project completion.

Requirements

Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Building, Architecture or related field.

Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the construction industry, preferably in a Project Manager or senior project role.

Experience in industrial factory, commercial building or Design & Build projects will be an added advantage.

Strong leadership, planning and problem-solving skills.

Good knowledge of construction methods, project scheduling and site coordination.

Able to manage multiple stakeholders and work effectively under project deadlines.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office; knowledge of project planning software will be an advantage.

Able to work independently and lead a project team effectively.
