Job summary

HAB CONSTRUCTION SDN. BHD. (Formerly Known as HAW AH BEE CONSTRUCTION SDN. BHD.) is seeking a Construction Project Manager for high-rise building projects in Kuala Lumpur. You will plan, coordinate and oversee construction activities, ensuring compliance with drawings, specs and safety standards.

You will lead project teams, interface with consultants and subcontractors, monitor progress, costs and quality, and drive projects to successful handover with rigorous reporting to management.

Job description

Plan, manage and oversee the overall construction activities of high-rise building projects.

Lead and coordinate project teams, site staff, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers.

Monitor project progress, programme, manpower, materials and equipment to ensure timely completion.

Ensure construction works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements and project requirements.

Coordinate closely with consultants, clients, authorities and other project stakeholders.

Review and monitor project costs, variation orders, procurement and subcontractor works.

Identify potential project risks, delays and technical issues and implement appropriate corrective actions.

Ensure all works comply with applicable building regulations, safety requirements and quality standards.

Conduct regular site meetings and progress meetings with relevant parties.

Monitor workmanship and ensure quality control is maintained throughout the project.

Review construction drawings, technical submissions and site issues where necessary.

Prepare and submit regular project progress reports to management.

Manage project documentation, including RFIs, site instructions, progress claims, variation orders and other relevant records.

Ensure proper coordination between structural, architectural, M&E and other trades.

Lead the project team towards successful project completion, testing, commissioning and handover.
