The Project Manager is responsible for the overall project review, planning, implementation, progress monitoring and hand over of assigned Projects complying with budgetary, health, quality, safety, security and environmental standards as required by law and set by the Company and Customer.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for project review, macro resource planning for project and establishing project-specific document control system at TTDI office in accordance with the quality management system.
Responsible for preparation of PQP and preliminary Overall Work Programme for approval.
Overall administration and management of the works under the Contract.
Oversee inspections and tests are carried out in accordance with the Contract.
Overall monitoring and reporting activities for the Project.
Overall monitoring of health, quality, safety, security and environmental plans (whichever is applicable).
Overall coordination, review and submission of progress payment to the Customer and facilitate timely payment to sub-contractors and suppliers.
Responsible for administration of EOT, VO, CPO, CPC and/or LAD (whichever is applicable).
Ensures all QMS activities under the assigned Projects are implemented effectively.
Responsible for other duties and functions stipulated in the QMS documents.
In tender or business proposal, tasks include, but not limited to, the following:
(a) responsible for carrying out contract review to ascertain Customer’s salient requirements (if necessary);
(b) responsible for risk identification / assessment and discuss with Management on appropriate controls (if any);
(c) responsible for planning of outsourcing strategy, work schedule, construction methodology, and preparation of technical deliverables;
(d) responsible for obtaining the Management’s final approval timeously so that the tender can be submitted within the predetermined deadline.
Perform any other duties that may be assigned from time to time by the Management.
Requirements:
Must possess at least a Bachelor’s degree in civil Engineering.
At least 10 years of relevant working experience.
Good knowledge of relevant regulations and familiar with local authorities’ requirement.
Good communication skill and able to liaise efficiently and effectively with consultants, contractors/ sub-contractors, suppliers and all level of staff.
Ability to effectively solve problems and conflicts.
Able to take challenges, results driven, proactive and has an eye for construction quality details.
Excellent organizational skills with proven track record of completing projects within budget, time and quality.
