Job summary

YEAN NG ARCHITECT in Malaysia is seeking a qualified Architect to join our team. The candidate should hold a recognized architecture degree and possess 3–5 years of relevant experience, with strong AutoCAD, SketchUp and Photoshop skills.

The role involves converting concept drawings to schematic plans, coordinating with consultants, developing detailed construction drawings, and overseeing site works with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Recognized degree in Architecture equivalent to LAM Part II.
• Minimum 3–5 years of working experience.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop and MS Office.
• Knowledge of Revit BIM is advantageous.
• Able to travel and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Responsibilities

• Convert concept drawings to schematic drawings and prepare presentation materials.
• Liaise with consultants to align project design intent.
• Develop detailed drawings for construction, researching materials for buildability.
• Produce construction drawings and manage projects, inspecting site works with minimal supervision.

Job description

Salary : RM 5000 - RM 7000 (Based on expericence)

Requirements:

Candidate must possess at least a recognized Degree in Architecture equivalent to LAM Part II (Graduate Architect)

Candidate must possess Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Architecture or equivalent

Minimum 3-5 years of working experience

Possess design flair and passion in Architecture

Required skill(s): AutoCAD, Sketch-up, Photoshop, Microsoft Office

Capability in Revit BIM will be an added advantage.

Able to work independently with minimum supervision.

Proficient in both English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Knowledge in Sustainable Design will be an added advantage.

Knowledge of authorities’ submission requirements.

Willing to travel

Responsibilities :

To convert concept drawings to schematic drawings and prepare all necessary relevant presentation material independently.

To liaise and coordinate with consultants on project design intent.

To develop detailed drawings in preparation for construction including research on the suitability of materials with a sound understanding of buildability and technical issues.

To produce construction drawings and to manage project and inspect site works with minimal supervision.
