Job summary

HRJ Engineering (M) Sdn. Bhd. is hiring a Project Architect to support design development and architectural detailing on live projects in Kuala Lumpur.

You will prepare design proposals, layout plans and material boards for presentation, and participate in site meetings. The role requires a Diploma/degree in Architecture (LAM Part 2 with 2-3 years experience) and proficiency with Autocad, BIM, SketchUp, Revit or Photoshop.

Qualifications

• Must possess architecture diploma or degree.
• LAM Part 2 with 2-3 years experience.
• Strong design and technical knowledge.
• Experience in Autocad, BIM, Sketchup, Revit, Photoshop or other design software.

Responsibilities

Job description

This role involves assisting in projects undertaken by the Company, including implementing projects according to schedules and budget, preparing design proposals, layout plans and material boards for presentation, and attending site meetings or inspections when required.

Key responsibilities

Assist in projects undertaken by the Company

Assist in implementing project according to schedules and budget

Prepare design proposal, layout plans and material board for presentation

Attend site meetings or inspections when required

Assist in design development and architecture detailing

Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor construction progress, verify design compliance, and address any design-related issues that arise during construction phases

Familiar with local authority submission procedures

About you

Must possess relevant diploma / degree in Architecture or equivalent

LAM Part 2 with 2-3 years experience

Possess strong flair in design and strong technical knowledge

Experience in Autocad, BIM, Sketchup, Revit, Photoshop or other design software

Self-motivated, disciplined, performance driven and able to work independently

Resourceful, able to meet deadlines and multi tasking

Good knowledge in Building By-laws, maintain detailed knowledge of building codes, regulations and standards, ensuring all drawings comply with relevant requirements
