Job summary

BNG Integrated Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Project Engineer to oversee the delivery, installation, testing and commissioning of X-ray scanning systems across sites in Malaysia.

The role requires a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in engineering and 2–5 years hands-on experience with industrial equipment, safety compliance, and strong documentation skills. You will travel domestically and work on-site during installations and factory inspections as needed.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree as stated.
• 2 to 5 years in installation, testing, commissioning, maintenance or project management.
• Experience with X-ray scanning machines or related equipment is a plus.
• Ability to read electrical and network diagrams and manuals.
• Strong documentation and technical reporting skills.
• Fluent in Bahasa Malaysia and English; Mandarin helpful.

PROJECT ENGINEER – X-RAY INSPECTION SYSTEM

BNG Integrated Sdn. Bhd. is seeking an experienced Project Engineer responsible for joining projects involving the supply and implementation of X-ray scanning machines.

Key responsibilities

Coordinate delivery, installation, configuration, testing and commissioning of X-ray scanning machines

Conduct site inspections and prepare Site Readiness Checklist before installation

Ensure machines, accessories, computer systems, networks and UPS comply with project specifications

Prepare method statements, test procedures, installation reports, commissioning reports, defect lists and project handover documents

Coordinate corrective actions and closure of Non-Conformance Reports

Liaise with principals, main contractors, customers, authorities and technical teams

Coordinate user training, preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, spare parts and technical support

Ensure all work complies with safety procedures & site regulations requirements.

About you

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronic, Mechanical, Instrumentation, Computer Engineering or related field

Minimum 2 to 5 years of experience in installation, testing, commissioning, maintenance or technical project management

Experience with X-ray scanning machines, security inspection systems, conveyor systems or industrial equipment is an advantage

Knowledge of radiation safety is an advantage

Able to read technical specifications, electrical diagrams, network diagrams and equipment manuals

Strong documentation and technical report preparation skills

Fluent in Bahasa Malaysia and English; proficiency in Mandarin is an added advantage for communication with principals.

Willing to work on-site, travel throughout Malaysia and attend training or factory inspections overseas when required
