Job summary

Solarvest Holdings Berhad in Malaysia seeks a Solar PV Engineer to conduct site surveys, design PV systems (electrical, structural, mechanical), and manage materials and subcontractors via ERP. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, with 3+ years in solar or electrical industries, and is proficient in AutoCAD, ERP, MS Office, and PVSYST.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• At least 3 years of working experience in Solar or Electrical industry
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
• Ability to multi-task and work in fast paced environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Project and other related Microsoft Office products
• Proficient in ERP system will be an added advantage
• Proficient in AutoCAD
• Knowledge and experience in Solar PV system and PVSYST will be an added advantage
• Willing to travel or relocate with own transport
• Proactive, self-motivated, team player with high integrity
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Conduct engineering site survey for solar PV system installation
• Design solar PV system including electrical, structural and mechanical aspects
• Plan and manage material purchase and subcontract via ERP system
• Liaise and manage sub-contractors for their scope of works and schedules
• Attend site meetings or ad hoc meetings
• Work with internal and external parties such as consulting firms and local authorities
• Coordinate with local authorities on meter installation and grid interconnection
• Set up remote monitoring and conduct test and commissioning
• Provide weekly reporting and project scheduling
• Implement best practices and safe work procedures
• Organize post-mortem meetings to evaluate project results and suggest improvements
• Involve in C&I-scale solar PV developments for premium clients in the green energy sector
