Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a capable Electrical Engineer with 1–2 years of experience in solar, electrical, or construction projects to plan, coordinate and manage solar project installation and implementation.

You will read technical drawings, prepare schedules and documentation, coordinate with contractors on site, monitor progress, ensure safety standards, and assist in testing and commissioning of solar systems.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in solar, electrical, or construction projects preferred.
• Ability to read technical drawings and project plans.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and manage solar project installation and implementation
• Prepare project schedules, technical drawings, and documentation
• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and project teams on site
• Monitor project progress to ensure work is completed on time and within budget
• Conduct site inspections and ensure installation follows technical specifications
• Troubleshoot technical issues related to solar system installation
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards
• Prepare project reports and update management on project status
• Assist in testing and commissioning of solar systems

• Willing to travel to project sites when required
• Knowledge of safety standards and regulations is an advantage
