Job summary

Padu Solutions Sdn Bhd in Subang Bestari, Selangor, is hiring a Project Engineer to lead and coordinate engineering projects from conception to completion. You will manage resources, monitor schedules, budgets, and quality to ensure on-time delivery.

The role requires a engineering degree and at least 1 year in project engineering or similar, plus strong PM knowledge and proficiency with project management software and MS Office. Travel for site visits may be required.

About the role We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join our team at Padu Solutions Sdn Bhd in Subang Bestari, Selangor. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in the successful execution and management of engineering projects from conception through to completion. As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for coordinating technical activities, managing resources, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. This role is strategically important to our organisation, as it bridges the gap between technical teams, stakeholders, and project management, ensuring seamless project delivery and continuous improvement across all initiatives.

What you'll be doing

Planning and scheduling project activities, milestones, and deliverables in alignment with project objectives and timelines

Coordinating with multidisciplinary teams including design engineers, site teams, and external contractors to ensure effective project execution

Monitoring project progress, tracking expenses, and preparing comprehensive reports for project stakeholders and management

Identifying and managing project risks, developing mitigation strategies, and implementing corrective actions as required

Ensuring compliance with all relevant engineering standards, safety regulations, and quality requirements throughout the project lifecycle

Liaising with clients and stakeholders to address concerns, manage expectations, and provide regular project updates

Reviewing technical documentation, drawings, and specifications to ensure accuracy and alignment with project requirements

Conducting site inspections and quality audits to verify that work meets established standards and specifications

Supporting the tendering process and assisting in the preparation of project proposals and cost estimates

Maintaining detailed project records and documentation for future reference and continuous process improvement

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related discipline) or equivalent professional qualification

Minimum of 1 year of experience working as a Project Engineer or in a similar project management role within the engineering sector

Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and best practices

Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Project)

Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders

Solid understanding of engineering drawings, technical specifications, and construction practices

Ability to identify problems, analyse solutions, and implement effective corrective actions

Familiarity with health and safety regulations relevant to engineering projects

Willingness to conduct site visits and inspections as required

Previous experience in specific sectors such as construction, manufacturing, infrastructure, or facilities management would be advantageous
