Job summary

EPR (Kuching) Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join our team in Kuching, Sarawak. This full-time role will play a key part in delivering our engineering projects, coordinating on-site activities and ensuring compliance with drawings and specifications.

You'll review drawings, prepare shop drawings in AutoCAD, supervise contractors, monitor progress, and generate progress reports. Fresh graduates are welcome, with registration as a Graduate Engineer an advantage and a strong

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil/Mechanical Eng or related discipline.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Able to assist with site coordination, technical submissions, inspections and project documentation.
• Willing to learn and support monitoring of progress, quality, safety and compliance with drawings and specifications.
• Registration as a Graduate Engineer with the Board of Engineers Malaysia will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, coordinating and supervising construction and engineering activities.
• Coordinate daily site activities involving contractors, subcontractors, suppliers and consultants.
• Review drawings, specifications, method statements, material submissions and other technical documents.
• Prepare shop drawings, sketches and basic technical drawings using AutoCAD.
• Monitor site progress and ensure works follow approved drawings, specifications and programmes.
• Conduct site inspections and coordinate inspection requests with consultants and relevant parties.
• Assist in resolving technical, coordination and site-related issues.
• Monitor workmanship, materials, safety practices and quality requirements.
• Prepare daily or weekly progress reports, technical reports, presentations and project correspondence.
• Maintain records of site activities, inspections, approvals, test results, photographs and as-built information.
• Assist with quantity verification, material planning, procurement coordination and delivery monitoring.
• Attend site, technical and coordination meetings and follow up on agreed actions.
• Assist in testing, commissioning, defect rectification, completion and project handover activities.

About the role

What you'll be doing

What we're looking for
