Job summary

IPE TECHNOLOGIES SDN BHD invites applications for a proactive Project Engineer to oversee engineering projects from planning through completion, ensuring delivery within scope, schedule, budget and quality standards. You will work closely with clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to resolve issues and meet project goals.

The role requires strong technical and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and travel to project sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics or related field.
• Fresh graduates may be considered depending on project requirements.
• Good understanding of engineering drawings, project documentation, and technical specifications.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills with liaising clients, consultants and teams.
• Willing to travel to project sites and overtime when required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and manage engineering projects from start to finish within scope, schedule and budget.
• Review drawings, specifications, contracts and technical documents for compliance.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers and internal teams.
• Monitor site activities and progress against drawings, specs and schedules.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation including method statements and progress reports.
• Conduct site inspections and address defects and non-conformities with corrective actions.
• Coordinate manpower, materials, equipment and subcontractors for efficient resources.
• Monitor project costs, variations and material usage to ensure cost control.
• Identify risks and delays and propose practical mitigation measures.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.

Job Summary

We, IPE TECHNOLOGIES SDN BHD, seeks a proactive and detail-oriented Project Engineer to oversee and coordinate engineering projects from planning through completion. The role will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered within the required scope, timeline, budget, and quality standards while coordinating closely with clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams. The ideal candidate should have strong technical, project coordination, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and resolve project issues effectively.

Job Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and manage engineering projects from commencement to completion, ensuring compliance with project scope, schedule, budget, and quality requirements.
• Review engineering drawings, project specifications, contracts, and technical documents to ensure works are carried out according to approved requirements.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution and timely resolution of project issues.
• Monitor site activities and project progress to ensure work is completed according to approved drawings, specifications, work programmes, and applicable standards.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, including method statements, work schedules, progress reports, technical submissions, inspection requests, and project records.
• Conduct site inspections and monitor the quality of engineering works, identifying defects, discrepancies, and non-conformities and coordinating corrective actions.
• Coordinate manpower, materials, equipment, and subcontractors to ensure efficient utilisation of project resources and timely completion of works.
• Monitor project costs, variations, material usage, and work progress while supporting effective project cost and schedule control.
• Identify technical issues, project risks, and potential delays, and recommend practical solutions to minimise their impact on project delivery.
• Ensure all project activities comply with relevant statutory requirements, safety regulations, company policies, and applicable engineering standards, and perform other duties assigned by management.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field.
• Fresh graduates may be considered depending on the project requirements.
• Good understanding of engineering drawings, project documentation, and technical specifications.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; knowledge of AutoCAD, project management software, or other relevant engineering software is an advantage.
• Willing to travel to project sites and work overtime when required.
• Possess a valid driving licence and own transportation is an advantage.

• Pay: RM2,800.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
