Job summary

Lusama J&S Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking an experienced Project Coordinator to oversee construction projects from start to finish. You will coordinate on-site activities, manage schedules and budgets, and ensure work meets quality standards.

The ideal candidate has strong leadership, solid construction management background, and the ability to liaise with architects, engineers, contractors and suppliers. Fluent English and Bahasa Malaysia preferred; Mandarin is a bonus.

Qualifications

• Resource & Schedule Management – Develop detailed project schedules, allocate manpower and materials efficiently.
• Documentation & Reporting/Presenting – Produce progress reports and updates on milestones and outcomes.
• Team Leadership – Supervise site teams, subcontractors and workers for smooth execution.

We are seeking an experienced and driven Project Coordinator to coordinate construction projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate has strong coordination and leadership skills, a solid background in construction management, and the ability to keep projects on schedule, within budget, and up to quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee Projects – Manage daily operations on-site, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required standards.

Coordinate with Stakeholders – Work closely with architects, engineers, contractors, and suppliers to meet project specifications and timelines.

Manage Safety & Compliance – Enforce safety policies and ensure all work complies with relevant regulations.

Resource & Schedule Management – Develop detailed project schedules, allocate manpower and materials efficiently.

Documentation & Reporting/Presenting – Develop detailed progress reports, work program and schedule, resource allocation, and provide regular progress updates to management & client. Monitor and track project milestones, deliverables, and progress against objectives.

Team Leadership – Supervise and guide site teams, subcontractors, and workers to ensure smooth project execution and continuous improvement.

Requirements:

Minimum 5 years of experience in construction site or project management, with a proven track record (please provide a list of past projects).

Strong knowledge of construction methods, site safety, and technical drawings.

Excellent leadership, communication, and decision‑making skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management software, and developing progress reports.

Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin would be a bonus.
