Job summary

VS Industry Bhd in Malaysia seeks a Production Supervisor for metal stamping, injection moulding and assembly to lead production operators and hit daily targets.

You will plan daily activities, allocate manpower, monitor machine utilization, and ensure timely delivery per customer requirements. The role requires coordinating with Engineering, Quality and Planning teams and driving 5S and continuous improvement in the production area, based in Senai, Johor.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in Metal Stamping, Injection Moulding, Assembly, Fabrication or related industries is preferred.
• Good knowledge of production processes, manpower planning, quality control, productivity and continuous improvement.
• Basic knowledge of ISO, 5S, safety, and production documentation.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead production operators to achieve daily output, quality, productivity, cycle time, and delivery targets.
• Plan and monitor daily production activities, manpower allocation, machine utilization and material flow to ensure smooth operations.
• Monitor WIP and production progress and ensure production schedules are achieved according to customer requirements.
• Identify and resolve daily production, quality, machine and process issues by working closely with Engineering, Quality, Planning, Technical and Management teams.
• Conduct shift meetings and ensure proper handover of production status, issues and follow-up actions between shifts.
• Prepare and review daily production reports, monitor key performance indicators and elevate issues requiring further action.
• Drive 5S, continuous improvement, productivity improvement, waste reduction, and process optimization within the production area.
• Coach and develop operators through on-the-job training, while maintaining a safe, disciplined, and positive working environment.
