Job summary

SMKARE SDN. BHD is seeking an on-site Production Line Supervisor to manage daily operations of the Assembly Production Line, coordinating with QA, Warehouse and Engineering to resolve issues. You will supervise staff, ensure SOP adherence, and drive 5S and safety compliance.

The role involves data recording, issue tracking, and participating in line balancing and process optimization to meet targets and maintain quality.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in Production/Manufacturing/Assembly preferred.
• Diploma or Degree qualification preferred.
• Proficient reading/writing in Chinese, English and Malay.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily on-site assembly production line operations and personnel.
• Coordinate with QA, Warehouse, Engineering to resolve production issues.
• Schedule tasks and supervise staff to meet production targets.
• Ensure 5S, safety, and company procedures are followed.
• Record production data and report anomalies.
• Assist in line balancing and production process optimization.

Job description

This position is primarily responsible for daily on-site management of the Assembly Production Line, including personnel arrangement, production progress, output, efficiency, quality, and production process execution, as well as coordinating with relevant departments to promptly resolve production anomalies.

Key responsibilities

Manage daily production and on-site operations of the Assembly Production Line

Arrange personnel and production tasks according to production plans to ensure production targets are met

Supervise production staff to operate according to SOP, Work Instructions, and production standards

Manage production output, efficiency, and production targets

Promptly identify and follow up on quality, material, equipment, and personnel anomalies during production

Coordinate with QA, Warehouse, Engineering, and other relevant departments to resolve production issues

Assist in Line Balancing, Workstation Arrangement, and production process optimization

Ensure production site complies with 5S, Safety, and company management requirements

Conduct employee work assignment, on-site guidance, and basic skills training

Record and follow up on production data, production anomalies, and related reports

About you

2 years or above experience in Production / Manufacturing / Assembly work is preferred

Diploma / Degree qualification is preferred

Fresh Graduates with Degree are welcome to apply, with good learning ability and development potential; the company will provide training

Must possess basic reading, writing, listening, and speaking abilities in Chinese, English, and Malay

Able to read and understand English SOP, Work Instructions, production, and basic technical documents

Good communication skills and cross-departmental coordination ability

Able to work independently with basic on-site problem analysis and resolution ability

Proactive, strong sense of responsibility, meticulous, and good work discipline

Willing to learn manufacturing production processes and participate in on-site management work

Good professional ethics and team collaboration spirit
